Lamcycle means “recycling of laminated wood”.Very little do people know about wastage in furniture production. This is a design to address such issue that does exist in the industry. In one factory, due to certain precision requirement, a considerable percentage of laminated plywood parts are being rejected daily as a result of quality control. Through this project, these pieces are being reinterpreted - reused and recycled into useful yet beautiful products.
Series#1 is made from laminated chair backs, turned into butterfly shaped seats, mounted on either standard legs or rocking legs.
